I appreciate the downvote. Obviously you think your Google search is more educational then my board certification in Addiction Medicine.

I didn't down vote you and I'm certainly not championing anything "google" related.

But aren't there AMA board certified physicians that claim a 10 year old can be chemically castrated?

I don't have an advanced degree but I know meth in no way is comparable to an eclair.

It’s a disease no one says hey Rebel let’s go get addicted to meth tonight and the response is sure it’s a great idea. And diabetics can have a lot of complications from their disease. Putting someone in jail for their disease doesn’t work. BUT, studies have shown court mandated residential treatment does work. Yet we still want to put people with substance use disorder in jail. Government should not be involved in Medicine

I think it speaks the opposite. Do you have any clue how hard it is to bring oneself to get help? It's not like only Louisiana suffers from addiction. At least here we offer the assistance to those that want to try and better themselves.

One of the problems is the terrible stigma associated with Substance Use Disorders. And FWIW calling someone an addict is like calling someone the N word in the 60s

I'm saying that someone in possession meth or fentanyl is in no way comparable or similar to someone picking up pastry products.

As a society we cannot allow people to run around possessing meth and fentanyl. There are other negative downstream effects to others. Most people get several bites at rehab apple by judges if arrested for simple possession. Judges seldom sentence a junkie to prison for simple possession.

Actually, they don’t end unless they have the money to afford it. And it’s pretty offensive to call someone a junkie.

since you brought your credentials into play, how many AMA board certified physicians over prescribed oxytocin because Purdue would invite and pay for their trips to Atlantis?

Do you think he’s ever called another person dumb, idiot, moron, or imbecile? Since we are saying medical terms like addict are offensive

I imagine pedophiles think other people calling them pedophiles is demeaning as well.

are suggesting referring to a guy in Kingston whose limbs are rotting off because because of tranq will have his poor little spirit broken if someone refers to him as an "addict"?

how many trips have you made to Atlantis for "medical conferences" sponsored by the likes of Purdue?
