Does anyone else scroll over thread titles like this just to see from where the OP is linking a story...only to never be surprised a story like this is Fox News?

Almost never disappointed...

Carry on with the outrage...

Why 15, it seems like a weird age to allow somebody to do anything. Its a very awkward age

that article is quite misleading

I disagree with a 15 year old getting sex change surgery but the medical consent age in Oregon is 15 and it has been for 50 years.

When they made sex surgery covered under Medicaid, 15 years old being able to get the surgery was a bit of an unintended consequence.

But of course FoxNews runs with these misleading headlines like Oregon made this law specifically so 15 years old can get sex change surgeries.

This was intended, though, right? That's a pretty big WTF as well.

no doubt

I don't agree with it, but people are freaking out like Oregon made the law specifically so 15 years old could get the surgery behind their parents back

Is it? They are going to change the consent laws based on specific surgeries now? That opens up all kinds of legal troubles.

So you can't get a tattoo but you can lob your dick off? Makes sense.

The word is "lop." 15 year old Oregonians can't get tattoos, but they can lop their dicks off.
