For work. I am from southeast Louisiana. Biloxi and Gulf Port area looks like a cool place to live. What says the OT?

BSL or Ocean Springs are the best places to live, but there are several nice smaller towns.

That is what I hear. Both of those places have come up in conversation and they are both in play. The coast of Mississippi is really intriguing

Pretty much a hidden gem.
The beach is fine, good enough for local living, no traffic, everything you need, great cost of living. Walk out of Dillards and look right at the damn beach.
Congrats on the move, baw

My wife and I have been in OS for about 4 years now (Texas transplants). We like it so far, it’s not Texas, but it will do lol. Beaches are fairly well kept, casinos are close, food and night life down town are good. Buy a boat and hit the barrier islands on your off time, it’s worth it to get off the public beaches.

I have a boat. I just need to find a place to accommodate the family and the boat. Would like to keep on a lift to just get in and go for a ride.

Go north of I-10 and find some acres. Possibly near D'iberville or Ocean Springs.

If you have kids this baw is correct. Both decent places to raise a family.

If you're talking about a house on a river, be very wary of flooding. Not sure if all waterfront homes along the rivers flood, but I do know a couple of families that have to deal with flooding regularly,

North of OS leaves you with Vancleave or Hurley.... Both are nice with good schools. We will end up north soon, but we enjoy OS.

Definitely recommend either BSL or Ocean Springs.Don’t know much about Ocean Springs, but definitely has a smaller town vibe. I absolutely love BSL. Family has a vacation home close by and we hit it up as much as we can. Obviously Gulfport and Biloxi are billed as the “bigger cities” but They add nothing to the mix. All they have are the big box stores and chain restaurants that you could easily drive to in 20 to 30 minutes, and avoid the daily traffic and other elements. Pass Christian also has some really nice houses and a fledgling downtown that has potential to grow into another BSL. Could possibly get a cheaper place now that goes up in value if the growth continues.

I hear that if you are vastly successful someone, maybe you, will finally be able to name the landmass.

The Republic of SummerSausage sounds great to me. Godspeed and good luck.

Would not recommend Gulfport. Too many better options. Bay, Ocean Springs if below I-10. Diberville or Vancleave if above I-10.
