Oof, Home Prices Posted Largest Annual Drop in More Than 11 Years in April by kywildcatfanone

I really want to sell and move, but my mortgage is 2.25%, and no way I would move and go up to a 5%+ mortgage

Better get comfy.

We want to sell in 2-3 years and ours is 2.3%. Guess we'll see what everything looks like at that time.

Big Scurb TX keeps telling us all a correction in the housing market won't happen

Nah, he’s probably been saying your 2008 housing crash is a hopeful wish, while everyone is still waiting on a “correction” (whatever that means).

Also I like how this just gets glossed over

I really want to move, but the only way it would make sense would be to find something we like and would want AND be able to move and eliminate the mortgage.

I would buy land and build, but building costs are almost double what I paid in 2020.
