Only 32 confirmed reinfection Covid cases out of greater than 40 million cases

I remember when people tried to say that immunity may only last a few weeks

“32 known, documented reinfection by genomics worldwide now out of > 40 million confirmed cases
There may be more but appears to be *exceedingly rare* to date, like ~1 in a million”

Were they really reinfected, or did they not totally get over it completely?

Obviously it has been very few cases but yes they went from positive with symptoms to negative with no symptoms, then to positive with
Symptoms months later.

Not counting those cases from Korea earlier that just had positive persistent test without symptoms.
