Yes, they used to be excellent.
The last one I bought from them about 2 years ago was trash, but I needed a new suit quickly.
Took it to a tailor in Mandeville to get it at least halfway decent. It didn't compare at at all to my old BB suits.

Way back in the day the only menswear store worth a shite was the Varsity shop, then followed by Todd Garlands.if you lived in Baton Rouge

Houston has a good selection of tailoring shops and individuals if you don’t mind the drive.
For a chain, SuitSupply has good quality and value, not top end but strong mid-tier. Their tailors can be hit or miss, but the ones who have been there a while are typically pretty good.

The issue is if you're built like a gorilla.
I don't even mean overtly muscular, I mean very broad across the chest, longer than average arms, and a small enough gut that you still need a 12--14 in drop.
People joke about looking like a monkey in a suit. I do. A tailored suit simply changes that from monkey to villainous monkey

Real Baws shop at that Warehouse man. Good bang for your buck!

I’m not really aware of any in Atlanta otter than Brooks Brothers, which can handle the suit part, but isn’t really the kind of spot OP’s referencing. Got any recs?
I don't love Sid Mashburn but I think ATL is his home city. It's overpriced and tries a bit too hard but there are certainly some good staples there.
Miller Brothers / Miller Collective in Buckhead, very solid joint.
H Stockton is an older school spot that recently moved. Last time I was there the clerks were a bit uppity and I overheard them really grinding an axe over politics. That has no place in retail so I dont' go there anymore but you make like it.
I think there's also a Billy Reid and Onward Reserve in the area. Billy Reid is a good southern brand but also a bit fashion-forward for my personal taste. Onward Reserve is a growing brand based out of Thomasville with a local founder and operator. Seems like a good bunch and I've bought stuff there. I don't know how much they get into suiting and tailoring if that's what your're after. It's more of a "what to wear to the country club" spot, but that's considered top notch attire at many banks and lawfirms these days.
