I fell for the first AI video scam I ever saw.

Had Blake Shelton in it, talking about a company who somehow had an overrun of crossbows. You could get one at some ridiculously low price and only $9.95 shipping.

Hell...I'm an old man, and all my life, if it was on video, it was real. And Blake Shelton wouldn't lie to me!

I was smart enough to use a $50 gift card I had, and not my debit or credit card.

They cleaned that sucker out, and educated me about AI and that video can no longer be trusted.

I am ashamed to admit this, but I fell for the “my boss had some extra speakers accidentally shipped to him and said I could have them…” scam. Parking lot at the Calendars on Highland. I was only 18 or so but still. Such a blatantly obvious scam. They did sound pretty good though.

Same, back in 2001. Met guys at the Chevron on Jefferson while I was pumping gas. Speakers lasted throughout college at least. Port holes were filled with beer caps by the time they were gotten rid of.

I fell for the speakers scam in the early 90s at Auburn. They lasted all thru college and beyond. Was sad to throw them away.

As a teen sneaking off to New Orleans, I had some guy tell me, "I bet I can tell you where you got your shoes."

I'll never forget buying Roland Martin's Helicopter Lure in the 90s. I thought for sure I was about to slay some bass.

Oh, that's not sarcasm.

If the columns or radiometric dating were inaccurate there would not be a direct correlation between the two.
