Has to be an inside job. How did they know where the guns were and when they would be there?

Tracking #. Could an be inside guy at UPS, Seller, or Buyer. UPS most likely.

Should be easy to find the guys when the police just search for the tracking numbers associated with these weapons though.

How would searching for the tracking number on a stolen package help them find a person

You do to bypass St Louis, but considering who and what are involved, that’s probably where I’d start between Memphis and Chicago.

It wouldn't, that's why this was a joke since it was stolen from a shipping provider.

100% it is gang related, and probably with Chicago ties

. Gangs from Chicago have been up and down I-55 and Illinois Highways breaking into pawn shops, gun stores, etc to get more weapons on the streets.

You called it.

You can go either, 57 is a bit quicker if there is no construction or other delays.

This is true. I-57 south in Illinois lists Memphis as a control city on overhead signs and on destination mileage signs as far north as Chicago, despite I-57 being 140 miles from Memphis.
