We don't always exercise our best judgement when drunk. Sometimes we may not even see babies in the sea of thousands of people. Personally I don't think that's even a great atmosphere for babies. You never know what a bunch of drunks are gonna do. Maybe get in a fight and knock your baby over

I think there's a certain level of personal accountability that accompanies bringing babies and kids to a huge fricking drunken party where shite is being thrown

I've been to lots of parades when I was younger but we stuck to parades in like Metairie because it was kids and old people

And I've been to Shreveport parades and don't get pissy. If you're not stupid then you should know what happens every year and don't act like you're shocked and whine about it
