One dead after Central City shooting, police say

NEW ORLEANS -- Police say one person has died after being shot in Central City Wednesday morning.
Police said the shooting happened shortly before 11 a.m. at the corner of St. Andrew and Magnolia streets.
Police say the person died later at a local hospital.
Additional details about the shooting have not been released at this time. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
