Also, the nepotism in the private sector is laughable. Relatives of VPs making $100k+ who probably put in 5 hrs of work per week and are untouchable.
So you want government to tell people in the private sector who to do business with and how much to pay people?

Id rather a sales tax ... EVERYONE buys things ... As opposed to income tax.
Also let them tax Amazon. Fine. I will still avoid going to my local Walmart. Ick.

Where did I say that? Quite the leap you made. My point was, that 5 hr per week douchebag will put down some city/state employee as lazy and useless. The irony.
There's dead weight everywhere. State workers have more protection from getting canned but they also get paid shite so it's kind of a wash. Believe me, I use to have the same mindset as most on here while working state gov and it was a big reason why I left. When I moved into the private sector, it was just more of the same and in many cases worse.
I'll give you an even better one. In my circle of friends there's a live free or die tea party guy who says the gov should pave the roads and get out the way. The company he works for makes 80% of their money off of government contracts. I guess people just love the smell of their own bullshite.
The private sector gives itself too much credit. Let's all pat each other on the back. What would the economy do without us?!?! Woohoo!
