Bury the dog in the back yard, tell the kids the dog died. They got to learn some day. Go talk calmly to the wife. Talk her into reason. shite happens, it sucks, but there is nothing that can be done.

The 2 big dogs would have her dug up tomorrow, back yard burial is not an option.

We adopt older dogs that don't get adopted. We got this one at 10. If they pass we do the cremation thing. Our vet handles it all.

I definitely would not put in freezer! toss the bag in your trunk, so no one has to see anything in the morning. It will keep till then.
