RS 14:98 is DWI
she’s now been convicted of DWI
if convicted of VH with a prior DWI it’s 5 years minimum no parole

You seem to be pretty close to this case so no doubt you know more than me, but I can’t figure out how in the how she’s out after a parole violation. I figured she’d at least be forced to do the time that was over her head for the 2nd DWI. Regardless, there is really only so much a family can do wants the public has its eyes in a case. She’s going to be doing some time, your guess is as good as mine for how much.
Hell, Vicki Gosserand’s family was a lot more politically connected than this, and even she had to do a couple of years. At least, supposedly. Word is she was hanging out on street clothes with the Sheriff but on paper, she was serving a few years.

Is she out AGAIN?
She’s GOT to be blowing a Judge/DA to completion. Only explanation.

no idea
i was wondering when her hearing was and i saw she'd been released "by court order". so either something was wrong with her arrest friday, or her lawyer is a sorcerer.
she's connected but not THAT connected, her father is the STP building official, and her mother works for the school board. the good thing is that the victim's family is not taking this lying down, and will keep the pressure on to lock her up, eventually

From very personal experience, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Their family is crushed.
