What 18-21 year old red blooded american male beer drinking student driving a 4x4 truck and owning an ATV wouldn't go out to the north side of Sardis Lake?

If it wasn't a place that was frequented often, would that not make it a better spot to put a body? Makes no sense to place it somewhere you know people will likely be in a couple of hours at sun up. Guy may have been out that way and never seen anyone, so he expected it to be a couple of days before she was found?

OK just making sure since it happened on the north side of sardis. But yeah if they were at that lakeside gas station in como then it's about a 40-45 minute drive from campus.

Yeah, but its a long skinny lake. She was found on the North side. Oxford and the "beaches" where Ole Miss kids party is on the South side.
In my 5 years at Ole Miss I never went anywhere but the South side of Sardis nor did I ever hear of friends/other students doing it.
Granted, maybe that has changed, but that would be a MUCH further drive.
