Might have been a few sprays before he or someone with an IQ above freezing point realized what he was doing. This is adding up a bit more than the OP.

The best story is the Phi Delts at Ole Miss back in the 90s had their house burnt down at the very end of the semester conveniently when the portraits and furniture were out for cleaning. State’s Phi Delt’s got a new house so Ole Miss’ wanted one as well, the Nationals said no, and then for some reason the house catches on fire and they collect the insurance money off of it. The Nationals knew what was up and agreed to build them a new house, but at a price that they were no longer allowed to host parties at their house.

Imagine burning down a house just so you can build a new house that you'll only be able to live in for 1-2 years max.

This. The story about the perpetrator picking up a spray bottle of what he thought was water that turned out to be bleach seems like exactly the sort of fiction a kid whose arse is in major trouble would concoct. Just my opinion, but I do not think a few squirts of bleach from a spray bottle would do that kind of damage. I think the victim had bleach poured—not sprayed—down his throat.

Only sophomores and President/VP live in the house, so the sophomores just had a damn good time doing it and praying that they would get away with it.

Someone I work with has a daughter who's currently an Ole Miss Chi O and they're getting a brand new house even though the one they have is perfectly fine, because why the frick not?

I’m thinking it’s some sort of hybrid between the OP and what that other poster was saying. Like covering it up to the degree the OP was implying just doesn’t seem feasible to me, and regardless I’m shocked the DM hasn’t said anything about this. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

Having a good time committing arson is a scary way to live the "college life". Who raises these psychos?

The houses at Ole Miss have gotten so fricking huge it’s ridiculous. Chi O’s have a reputation to maintain and now I believe they have the smallest house on campus.

I don’t necessarily think that incident was psychotic, just blatant as all frick. Not like anyone got hurt and they very coincidentally had anything of sentimental value saved and were all in the process of moving out of the house. That’s legendary shite. If they were actual psychos they would have burnt it down in the middle of the semester at 10:00 AM with no fricks given the consequences.

the other sororities, as if they had room to talk, would sing a song of praises to their sluttiness,,"Chi-O, Chi-O, it's off to bed we go..."

Most of them are spoiled. When you are spoiled, you make bad decisions.

Drinking a basic solution is far far worse than an acid. A base keeps eating and eating. An acid will coagulate and eventually stop.

So fricked.
