Old Louis's Cafe on Airline, what did it become afterwards (or before it)?

There use to be an old hotel next to Royal Nissan on Airline. It has a restaurant in front of it. I think it was Huddle House in the 80's. In the early 90's, Louis's Cafe opened a second location there (didn't last very long).

Anyone here remember what it was before or after Louis's Cafe.

Was that before or after (or even both)? If not before, what was it before, Huddle House?

Think it's a used car place now.

Worst Burger I ever had. Basically gave me a hockey puck on a bun.

The "R" on the Russell's Grill sign was a waiter/chef holding a plate of food.

The first time I ever heard the term "greasy spoon" was from my grandmother in reference to that place.

Russell's came after Louie's. I think that it became a used car place after that. That complex was once a longtime home to the Tiffin Inn and Fountain Motel.

If that's the old Tiffin Inn Pancake House I'm going to go see it. I have some fond memories as a very young kid in the '60's going there in the wee hours of the morning with my family after a long day and night spent at the Quarterdeck Club behind the Oak Manor Motel. I really liked those pancakes and today when I make pancakes I try to make them like those were.

Tiffin inn is correct. My parents went every weekend. The same waitress waited on them. She put 2 kids through med school. That's all I got.

Ohh I do remember that the partitions in between the booths were like a yellow opaque material??
