Discussing this with a principle of an EPC firm today.
Argentina will be building refineries.
Vaca Muerta formation in western Argentina with crude oil that is extremely desirable, more so than the premium crude in the US, Louisiana Light Sweet,
Offshore Tierra Del Fuego expansion of offshore discovery which includes a lot of natural gas. That's way in the south and cold.

Not really, different grade of crude oil for different product profit centers. Argentina's crude is much more desirable than tight shale type from Texas by a LOT. Not so hot for making asphalt or petroleum coke
