That article posted from the Atlantic or whatever it was said the same thing. The difference between the two is this, the little children want a "safe space" from words they don't like, or ideas they do not wish to hear, thus in effect killing socio-political discourse, the antithesis of the First Amendment.

The employees don't want to have to go to work running a gantlet of screaming people TRYING to intimidate them as they enter their place of employment.

Two different concepts altogether, and to conflate them is deception at its finest. And yes, your ugly, screaming mugs ARE scary, and your lack of self-control make people fear for their bodily safety.

It isn't just the First Amendment. It is the purpose of a University. You are supposed to hear and consider ideas you don't like when you are at a university. That's the whole purpose of an education - to be exposed to ideas you don't already hold.

The idea that people are too fragile to be exposed to ideas that are scary or "offensive" ought to be considered too asinine to debate in a democracy. A college experience that coddles you instead of prepares you to deal with real world problems has completely failed you.

I kind of want my kid to go to OSU now
