The couple were out of the house due to remodel work after a fire. Yesterday morning workers reported the smell of gas to the gas company. When a tech arrived, they found a stove had been left on. The stove was turned off and the gas shut off. No one reported seeing graffiti at the time. Less than 24 hours later, in the middle of the night, the house blew up and the graffiti was found; including random spray paint on neighbor's vehicles. No signs of forced entry were reported in any of the articles I read.

If this were true, they would have been intentionally putting the entire crew working on the remodel in a position to be killed. As the couple said, no one could have survived that explosion.
