My dad tells stories of Box Canyon- Evangline circle and panty raids.

Sounds like girls threw panties out the window. I am not getting the point

one of our old college buddies used to always say "I'm bored, anyone want to go to Miller dorm and sniff bicycle seats?"

Apparently they were still a thing as late as '95. Watched one go down at Panhellenic Hall from my window in Roberts Hall while an undergrad at Southern Miss.

Even in Pentecostal Youth Camp we made panty raids. Preachers' daughters would be the ones without panties BTW.

It was a 70's thing. You wouldn't understand. It was fun. I've seen nice ones with their phone numbers written on it, and granny panties with their numbers. No one touched those. LOL

Yes, I participated. At that time panty raids were almost a scheduled event on the Friday nights before big home football games.

Perhaps a more interesting spinoff thread would be who participated in the Great Streak of 1974? It seemed like the most beautiful Spring weather this country has ever experienced, and perhaps coupled with the winding down of the Vietnam War, college students (and others - witness the 1974 live Oscar Awards telecast) were inspired to joyously romp naked through the quads, libraries and athletic events of most universities, sometimes carrying an amusing accessory such as an umbrella, or sporting a feather boa.

LSU established the still-standing collegiate record for the largest group streak one Friday night on Sorority Row. A 1974 National Championship which has gone unrecognized. One of the funniest and most fun nights ever. If someone else contributes a story, I will as well.

You’ve obviously never choked yourself off with a pair of still warm panties while masturbating in your car.

I didn't get down their until 77, but my brother was part of that. Did see the streaker at the Oregon State at LSU game. Always wondered what Bretton Somers' TD's name is. He has to post here.

He doesn't post here.
In fact part of his Conditions of probation(he got off light) were NOT to brag about it in public, including Tigerdroppings. Funny shite that the DAs office knew about TD back then(spring 05 for sentencing). He told me this later on circa 2008 when a thread was started about him.
I've told the story of how it happened and where he is now plenty times:
Was his first LSU game ever as he was a new grad student in Archeology. He got shite canned and baited by another guy who said he would go run out with him. Whoops!
Anyhoots. I met him when He came out to Baton Rouge Rugby two weeks after this incident and instantly made 35 new lifelong friends.
And the Story has a happy ending as he stuck it out, paid his debt, graduated, and marrried a local BR gal who's my good friend from HS.
They have 4 chirrens and still live in BR.
Oh and he's Dr. Somers, as LSU did NOT kick him out.
