What the Malaysians should have done hours after the flight went missing and no wreckage was found.

Leaning more towards suicide than terrorism IMO

If suicide, why fly all that way? Why not immediately take it down?

Now I def think they may have crashed in trying to accomplish whatever they wanted, but I don't think it was a straight up suicide mission.

I've been there several times, and I've called it lots of things. Badass wasn't among them.

Good question but if it was terrorism why fly into the middle of the ocean?

I don't think that you understand my question. They should be able to draw an arc for each hourly ping based upon the angle with the satellite. If you superimpose each hourly arc on a map you would be able to determine the direction of flight. If I had the data I could do it.

Is it normal for pilots to have flight simulators in their home? I find this odd. Maybe he was teaching the next generation of terrorists.

I truly think he had that sim to go over every possible scenario with landing that plane on some remote island or without lights and atc to help him.

Counter Intel trying to throw off the hostage holders so they will relax their guard a little before the impending rescue mission.

Who said the pings are from the same satellite? As I understand it the last ping is on a satellite that wasn't pinged on prior...hence they don't know if plane turned north or south but they know based on distance from satellite and previous position the plane couldn't have still been heading west.

One of CNN's experts said it was from a geosynchronous satellite off the east coast of Africa.

If data came from more than one satellite then triangulation would be that much easier.
