Plane crash could be an attempt by terrorists to get a bomb into this trench, unleashing earthquakes and tsunamis on the entire region.
Lol

Why use a map that doesn't have your reported sighting place marked?
SOP for this so far.

Idiot. You would want to get rid of the largest economy in the US.

That would seem to give a lot of credit to a group who has yet to be able to identify specific radar targets from several days old radar......
Or do they know exactly what they are doing by throwing out random tidbits of info and throwing everyone off the scent

I am starting to embrace this theory as well.
I really was leaning that it was hijacked

Are you referring to the Mexican drug trade?

eah, I think the Malaysian Air Force is just confused. They tracked "something" but just don't know what it was. Then the communicated that poorly, or something was lost in translation or mis-reported. One of the reports even speculated a discrepancy in the altitude - whether it was "1000 meters altitude or 1000 meters below last reported cruising altitude." Big difference. I think these reports have been mistranslated, or the communications reps of the air force can't decide on how to say that they don't really know what they saw on radar.
I am truly starting to believe they tracked something and had no clue what it was...scrambled fighters...and when communication wasn't returned they shot that mother fricker down and then immediately realized from reports of missing airliner exactly what they had shot down.
This would explain why they let the "false" search go on and said nothing for a couple of days.
NO WAY they track "something" over their airspace and do nothing!

Now we can start taking bets on which military shot it down.
I'm going with Malaysia.
If the military did shoot it down, it was probably Malaysia. Someone panicked.

I think both may be a strong possibility. Maybe the passengers went rambo and screwed up the real plans

seems valid to me

Yea, no fricking wonder that military guy has been so vague....he's covering for the leaders arse who told him to shoot it down without realizing a passenger plane was missing

Still doesnt explain the the transponder was turned off? Also, if the plane was shot from the sky, there would be debris every. Surely a passing ship would have seen something floating. Theory is nor out of realm of possibility however...anyhing is in play it seems

Those are not mutually exclusive. As of now, they are no less viable (including the combination) than anything else. Certainly more likely than the aliens or cloaking device theories.

I think something was going on in the plane as well, hijacking, pilot going postal, etc
Im sure they had to be "flying blind" at that point, you can't use your radar equipment and be off the grid, right?
