The last one was. A few companies treated it like a hurricane and offered hurricane pay for guys to stay.
Other places said if you don't think you will be able to get to work tomorrow, sleep here because you are not off.

Prolly take at least a half day Tuesday. No way I'm gonna be stuck in Laffy with no way to get home.

im not working tues. or wed. after i made the mistake of leaving my house at 900pm last thur. driving to houston, and then leaving houston at 330am fri. morning i didnt get home until 500pm fri. evening. that trip usually takes me 12 hrs total, but that one took me 20hrs! screw that.

It took me an hour to get from Juban to Range. I've got a Jobsite in Denham, so I stopped there. I'm not doing that again.

Just got an email from our CEO telling us to keep all company vehicles off the road tomorrow and Wednesday.
Glad I didn't have to call in and use my sick voice tomorrow.
