Yup, just across the river from Central. It's likely in the area often called "Stevendale."

Well it was a nice run of about 5 to 6 days with no reported shootings...

Emergency crews responded to a shooting on Amarillo St. off Plank Rd. in North Baton Rouge around 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

One person was shot and and is in critical condition. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, details are limited, and additional information will be provided as police continue the investigation.

It does not. How did the shooter, however, go virtually media-unnoticed? Maybe since it was not nearly the shite show that Waco was, no one cares?

Headline like this always make me think of SOUTH Highland.

But of course...we land near downtown on this one. 3:45 pm.

All good. Nice work.

Murders and shootings took a small vacation for a minute or 2 in BR. Taft yesterday. Gonna play my ace in the hole and say North Foster has one next.

Those motels on Rieger are shady as hell. It seems like when there's a big prostitution bust that's generally one of the main spots.
