How do I convince my boss that my 30 step commute to the home office tomorrow is a dangerous one?

crackling sound in the trees when the wind blows

Yeah hard to tell with limited lighting exactly how much icing on the trees, but you can hear it.

Just took a walk outside. Some slick spots already, some spots with large puddles not frozen yet. Just a matter of time before it all freezes. I'm seeing it's down to 28 so far right now.

Yea, the wind blows and you can definitely hear the limbs creaking because of the ice. A little creepy but also cool sounding but then I remember that I’m freezing my nuts off so I go back inside.

It would seem as though the area is in for at least an hour of some form of wintry precipitation.

That's not possible, some guy with gauges in his ears swore 20 Pages ago that dotd was more than capable of keeping it open.

Even though I personally heard the site manager for dotd EBR say it was fricking impossible to keep it going.

Just checking in to say that I hate winter.

Power flickered a few hours ago and I heard a loud pop outside somewhere, but it’s still on for now.

In high school we had almost 2’ of snow followed by an ice storm. 2 weeks without power or water.

I clearly haven’t moved far enough south
