Engines not specifically designed for higher octane gas have absolutely no benefit from additional octane.
Putting higher octane gases in cars not designed for it is completely wasting money.

high octane fuel burns hotter and if a vehicles isn't designed for that higher heat, it absolutely will have destructive effects. every part in the system is affected by higher heat. stop trying to beat the system.
Well this is one of the dumber things I’ve ever read on this site. Which is certainly saying something.

Nitrogen is an inert gas…it is not a source of energy.

Well that can't be true. It's enriched!!
It reminds me of...

Can you buy a bottle of octane booster and put it in with regular fuel and get better results than premium?
Not really, even the stuff from VP "off-road" rated stuff will only get you slightly higher octane than 93 when added to regular gas and costs significantly more than simply filling up on 93. Also, constantly using additives like that isn't good for emissions system parts.

Just pee in your tank
That only works for Diesel and you pee in the DEF tank.

That is from the same experts that gave us nitrogen enriched air for tires.

Waste of money generally speaking.

Higher octane fuel actually means it is more resistant to premature detonation or engine knock than regular fuel. Octane rating measures the fuel's stability under pressure and heat, and a higher number indicates greater stability. While high-octane fuel is beneficial for high-performance engines with high compression ratios or turbochargers, it offers no advantage for cars designed for regular gasoline and may be an unnecessary expense.

While an inert gas, N2 doesn’t combust easily since it is triple bonded together.
Nitrogen in other forms can combust due to the weak bonds Nitrogen makes with other atoms.
Adding N2 to gas making it harder to combust. It is added as an antiknock agent. I guess back in the 1920’s when lead was added, scientists figured we can’t make money on a patent for nitrogen gas, so let’s come up with tetraethyllead, but that led to issues with air pollution, and was phased out.
Then the scientists went back to the lab in the 1970’s to come up with Methyl tert-butyl ether, MTBE, but that super-formula, turned into a drinking water issue and a forever chemical.
Then the government came in and forced increasing amounts of ethanol in the gas to meet air standards and added nitrogen for anti knocking.
