I have a lab mix, 8 months old, smart dog, uses the bathroom outside, very friendly. She just has endless energy. I could put her on a treadmill and she is still going on all cylinders. That and she likes to jump on people. And yes, we walk her at least twice a day. Any help would be appreciated....

There's a trainer on Detente Rd in Youngsville that I've heard good things about.

Needs more exercise than just a walk. She just wants to play. Go out and throw a tennis ball for her non stop for as long as she will go. Tire her out good and when she comes in she will sleep.
Dogs are like kids, the more exercise they get and exhausted they are the less trouble they will cause.
Plus it's fun to play with a dog. Throw a frisbee, stick, tennis ball, whatever.
But you need to break her arse from jumping on people ASAP. She will jump up and scratch cars too if it continues.
First thing I always teach my dogs is the word "No" and who's running shite.
Edit:. And if you're around water, throwing the ball into the water and making her swim is great exercise, low impact too.

Carol Fairchild in Mire. (337) 873-4282. One of the best bird dog trainers in the state. We sent all of 3 of our poodles to her and they came back geniuses. You can open the door and they won't go outside or inside until you give them the go-ahead. She'll learn how to walk on leash (will never go in front of you, will always stay at your side). She'll never jump or bite, and be much more personable.
The first time we took our dogs to her, there were a ton of kenneled bird dogs yapping in the yard, going nuts. Carol walks out and waves her hand once and they all shut the frick up so epic
it's like $700 or something for 6 weeks. send with food, meds, etc. you'll have to go and do an interview with your dog to see if she will take yall on.
