There’s bartenders in Atlanta who do that every night. I have friends that make $600-800 a night at small bars in Marietta and Kennesaw. Bartenders make good $ if they’re good looking. Or have a bunch of regulars who take care of them

You have multiple bartender friends making 6 figures?

“A night” is what a dumb person who thinks Tuesday nights are the same as all day Saturdays and extrapolates out.

Not out of the question at all.L knew a part owner of NY Prime in Atlanta and he told me most of the prime time waiters make over a 100k.

Heck,I worked at a high end steak house in Buckhead about 25 years ago and made 60k+ and it was only open for dinners and closed Sunday.

Yep. Not crazy. Higher cost of living areas mostly. But with waiting tables you’re often treated like shite, you have no bargaining power, no guarantee of future earnings. It’s hard on your back and feet. And you give up the best times for hanging out with friends and family by working weekend nights and other nights. Definitely not worth a career for most. And I can’t imagine doing anything more boring than the exact same shite over and over for your entire career

Bartenders at Panos and Paul’s in Atlanta made almost 85k a year in the mid to late 90’s.

Probably not but there are A LOT of folks who did very repetitive jobs that get paid far less. And it would also depend on how much you like or dislike your customers and mgt.

I did it for almost 2 years in-between a career shift for me and ended as great choice at the time.Actually ended up with a couple of job offers from customers

Was not the case where I worked but I did hear that the place hired more staff and cut back shifts long after I left.Still open BTW and still doing very well.

Took an Uber there and back and it cost a total of $40. That is way too cheap to risk a DWI.
