Neither are your beloved mRNA vaccines that have been continually amended relating to their efficacy and side effects

Great, but that doesn’t address my point. Let’s stay on point for once. Again, these medications are not new, the side effect profile is pretty well-understood and they are largely benign. They don’t work for weight loss without a fundamental change in how people approach their diet. As a diabetic medication, they are fantastic.

Just like COVID vaccines stop the spread of Covid and don’t cause myocarditis.

I just need to know when I can trust big pharma and when I can’t, no one’s been able to provide the guidelines to me yet

Damn, you have massive trouble staying on point. Again, these are well-studied medications which have had treated people for a long time. That fact is something relevant to your idiotic non-sequitur but color me skeptical that you can understand the association.

Yeah your trust isn’t really relevant here when we have a massive amount of data from which to draw.

Just like the mRNA vaccines where this actually wasn’t true.

The real question is the data reliable?

I’m still waiting for the class action infomercials about all this shite 20+ years from now after some horrible data gets leaked by a rando on YouTube.

What? Your lack of rigor here is confusing because GLP-1’s are the exact opposite of the mRNA tech. The fact is that we know injections of peptide hormones work well because we’ve been using them as interventions for more than a century now. This is just an extension of using insulin and glucagon as interventions, as GLP-1s specifically are from cleaving a precursor protein to glucagon.

Man, there have been millions of these prescriptions filled since 2005. We have a really good idea about the side effect profile. The massive protective effects are similar to other drugs which have protective effects on organ systems with very few downsides. The fact that side effects are so rare should be instructive to you about their safety profile.

There were way more than that with mRNA vaccine technology

Nah, you are backtracking because you don’t understand what you are talking about with regards to medicine.

Yes, and the response has been largely benign. Even the vaunted myocarditis rate was higher with actual infection than it was with the vaccine.
