There’s 4 ways to spend money:

1. Your own money on yourself
2. Your own money on others
3. Someone else’s money on yourself
4. Someone else’s money on others

This falls in category 4, which is why taxpayer money is usually wasted.

No one gives a shite when they are spending someone else’s money on others.
