For the last couple weeks I’ve noticed the left side of the tip of my big toe is numb. It doesn’t tingle, it’s just numb to the touch. It happens when I’m sitting, standing, and laying down. Leg bent or straight, it doesn’t make a difference.

I notice when I walk, if I place my weight on the ball of my big toe as I walk then the same area that’s numb will tingle a little.

It doesn’t hurt at all and every blood test I’ve ever done shows optimum blood sugar levels so diabetes and/or diabetic nerve issues probably aren’t the issue.

What kind of doctor do I even see for this?

Have you noticed your foot dragging any?

Any weird twitches?

Any slightly slurred speech?

I'd go with psychiatrist cause you sound crazy as hell.

Do you run? I get different neuro pains at times from running. Right now if I extend my right foot, curl my toes and rotate the foot inward I get a painful shock in my little toe.

no I don’t run. Which probably contributes to the numb toe!

Really? I hope not. I did get in a wreck back in January where my back hurt a lot but the pain went away a couple months later.
