All this shite in this PAST is in the past. Plenty of people have suffered from the past but damn the black folks love bringing it up. I know plenty of successful black folks that are successful just like white people. White privilege wtf is that? I was born it this country just like you. Lived in a trailer park, my mom was on welfare, dad moved away. Myself and two brothers have had it rough. Know how we made it out? Hard work, education, military. No excuses. Let me here your reasoning on how blacks are held back within the last 20 years and TODAY? The quality black posters in here probably have had hardships to over come hell we all have them. I have not been given anything in life. Lol white privilege. Sorry I was born here in America

That's referencing mercenaries and slaves fighting on the side of the British, breh.
It doesn't mean Americans were going around killing all the slaves... I mean they paid for those slaves so why in the frick would they kill them?
ETA - some people even think "slaves" may be a reference to those who were forced into serving in the British navy and/or army
