Did all the old K-marts have restaurants in them?

I grew up in Chalmette in the 80's and ours had a full service restaurant as well as a diner counter you could sit at. Pretty much a larger version of today's Waffle House.

Was that the strip club by Lafrinier Park? I never made it there, but it had to be better than the crappy one that we still have right off of Veterans.

Downs was so trashy it was funny.

The In Zone not only had the best specials on Tu/Th/Sat, but had at least 3 nudy joints within drunken walking distance. One of which was Mickey Martin’s Ship Wheel.

Schwegemann’s with the little bar/grill. Used to go with my maw maw and pawpaw. We sat at the counter, he drank a couple of Falstaffs and I got a burger while she shopped.Miss that old man.
I miss the Schwegmann’s sign on the corner of Perkins and Bluebonnet telling of a new store going to be built. Must've been there ten years...

A little, I was usually high or on mushrooms when I was there.

Forest Park used to be a great place on Saturdays. Also fun and sand beach on GSR

I recall Warehouse Foods in Baton Rouge having a small theater near the front of the store where kids could watch cartoons like Woody Woodpecker and Hekyl and Jekyl on a fairly big screen for a quarter.

I believe the building still stands and is a lumber store or something along those lines. Anyone here see a cartoon while their folks shopped for groceries?

... And the Gonzales location of Western Sizzlin' was my jam, bruh.

Hmmmm... I don't recall any K-Mart having a restaurant

I do recall the Rose's (anyone remember that place?) in Biloxi had one, went there when I was around 9, had the greasiest fish ever fried...
