Stompers were the shite. You could flick a switch underneath them to engage the 4x4. It would slow them down but they could not be stoped.

I had those. I "shaved" a scar into the one with the brown beard, to make him look like he'd been in a really tough battle.

A sand/dirt hill with tunnels, a few GI Joes and a couple of M-80s made for some awesome battles.

This was back when parents couldn't care less what you were doing, so long as you were outside playing. They didn't have to worry. Of course, that doesn't meant that they shouldn't have worried.
