re: Normal age for boys to look at porn?

That is insanely way too young for porn. 12 is a normal age to at least be curious about those things but even then the kid shouldn't know what to do with it yet.

I kind of feel bad for the kid that he lost that innocents so young.

God damn there's a bunch of old people out of touch in this thread.

I'm 21 and play video games online, with the ease of access kids have to stuff on the Internet I guarantee you it is totally normal for a kid around the age of 9-10 to be looking up shite like this. 7 seems like it'd be a little early, but if he has any older siblings, there ya go.

And yea, it's fricked up, but that's one of the downsides of our increased connectivity. (At least it seems like a downside to those of us who got through early puberty before the Internet was really widespread like it is now -- I'm sure a generation from now it'll be no big deal, just like how the generation before us would have thought it mortifying that an 11-year-old would try to get a porno VCR tape, or something.)

tl;dr It's probably too early, definitely by our standards, but it's entirely normal in the Internet Age and shouldn't be that huge a problem anyway if the parents handle it properly.

I thought we were teaching kids to embrace sexuality early these days? Didn't I hear about a California kindergarten allowing transgender students to pick their restroom? Why would looking at porn be discouraged? Doesn't that mean you are open minded and tolerant? Of course I'm being sarcastic. Way too young. No one "needs" to look at the stuff. Warps our notions of love and sex.

I liked a girl when I was in 1st grade. More like a friend I always wanted to be around though. Accidently saw inappropriate things searching "tomsturkey.com" when I was... 4-5th grade? <-I have no idea what made me look that up besides it was near Thanksgiving. I got legitimately freaked out my friend and I were going to get crucified by our parents. We felt like it was "bad stuff".
I say 7th-8th grade is a more normal age.
