NOLA "Take Your Kids to Work At City Hall" Day

This is pretty cool. The mayor reversed herself on shutting down the city today, and asked people to work in the afternoon. Since school is cancelled, she said just bring your kids with you.
Had some people on hand to entertain the kids.
I'm stunned that city government can get their crap together quick enough to do this.

If they did “let your kids do your work day” the city would probably run more smoothly.

Seems about right.....school is cancelled for a storm that didnt hit us, so bring your kids to work so they can play and have access to more freebies and fun. I'm sure the work at City Hall will get done with all that going on....oh wait...when did any real work ever get done there in the first place? Perfect
