What if you live there? The FQ is an actual neighborhood. And a great one where neighbors all know each other.

Who thought this was a good plan?

Probably the same guy that thought statues were going to bring down the crime rate.

I met Polite a few times. Comes across as genuinely a good dude. I'd no doubt pull the lever for him.

Also Walt Leger if he throws his hat in the ring.

Polite is a great option. If he throws his hat in the ring, I'll certainly consider voting and even working for him. Same with Sidney, he dated my cousin for awhile.

I guess I should have phrased it as if you're hanging out on the second through the fifth blocks of Bourbon st. ( around the clubs).

I'm pulling a Trump here.

I lived on 800 block of Dauphine briefly and had no issues, it's around the clubs where the shite goes down.

No doubt. The FQ is a fantastic place to live. I have a chica I see about twice a year there and always have a great time hanging there. I love being down there.

I know personally if I'm still hanging out on Bourbon outside the clubs or walking up and down after midnight I'm looking for trouble.

Hopefully by then I've already found it and I'm not still walking around Bourbon after midnight.

My fil and his brother both have lived there since they were little.

They're still alive.

The SO and I try to do brunch in the quarter once a month on the weekend. We have the same routine - brunch, French 75 bar then walk to Jackson Square and French Market. Don't get me wrong, I love that place but there is a reason why we don't late night there anymore.

Stripper glitter never comes off?

Nothing worse than showing up to brunch with the fam and having leftover glitter all on your face
