I'm glad my dad retired from S&WB before all this shite happened. He was always complaining about how so much was broken and took years to get something fixed.

The city council is acting like they're blown away that there's corruption in the S&WB and problems with drainage.
And they keep saying they want to find who is responsible.

I think Becker just realized his 30 years at SWB just ended a few minutes ago. He won't be at that job by the end of the week.

Is anyone watching thinking things are going to change? A few people will lose their jobs and the City Council will move on to the next tragedy/news story. This will be brought up when the city floods again while they're still in charge in 2025.

The guy talking now just implied the Council/Mayor will not allocate the money to spend on the maintenance contract. What does the council do? Ignore it and move on to more grandstanding.
