I know they claim it? But I can see how a few NE bars could have a claim as well.

What's the "in between" history to Lafittes? Was it ALWAYS a bar when it wasn't a stash house for Lafitte during his lifetime? Was it ever just some dudes home in 1880 for 10 years?

As my mind races between beer and boobs with trips to the FQ previously, my mind always goes back to "what WAS this place?" And always "what's upstairs".

Galveston Strand does the same.

I must have 5 different pics of me by that fireplace at Lafittes. I am looking all busted up over the years compared to that fricking fireplace and chimney. Lol
