However, city officials said 75% of hospital beds are currently in use, meaning there's a high risk of overload.

75% is fricking nothing Someone didn't really use that as an excuse right?

It's bullshite, but I can't complain.
1) Don't have kids
2) I live behind a school so parking during the day is usually fricked out of the mind

I can't believe how long this charade has lasted. These kids are missing out on critical years in their intellectual and social development.

Isn't the normal rate of occupied or in use beds around 90+ percent anyway?

The only overload is going to come from gunshot victims.

there’s going to be an entire generation who have a year and half gap in their already poor education, because why?

Yep, hospitals aren't designed for half of them to sit empty most of the time

You'd think a doctor would understand that.

Worst part about this is all those kids will advance to the next grade level, and be worse off than ever...

When my kids, who are in Catholic school, came back this year, they struggled their asses off in the beginning of the year because of virtual learning.

Kids need a classroom environment to actually help them learn.

When they have such role models as NBA young boy with 7 kids before 21... America is in great hands for the future !!
