I'm just jumping back in here. Has the protriot been effectively shut down or is there some success?

It seems NOPD has an idea of where they are going and just going along.

Don't think they care about shutting it down as long as they stick to the plan and stay peaceful.

I'm sure they don't want to trample these people with horses and beat them senseless. NOPD officers also all live here. They don't want their cities and livelihoods destroyed. This shite isn't going to fly in the South.

Further, Gusman I'm sure had to tell Latoya to shut the frick up and let him do his job.

I watched first hand from less than 5 feet the cops swarm and break up the crowds after the float killed the guy at Mardi Gras. They don't want to have to attack this crowd, but if they have to, they'll do it efficiently and quickly.

This is something NOPD typically handles really well. If it gets out of control they’ll respond and the surrounding parishes will help. As well as the state police.
