Went and checked out the tall ships today. Cool. The wait on line is ridiculous.

Considering half the USN/USMC just saved the world from hurricanes and the other half is busy getting ready for Little Rocket Man, not shocked if the lineup looks a bit light this year!

Y’all need to check out the La Resolue if you’re going to see the ships. It’s all the way down the road from where the checkpoint for the Kearsarge is. It’s a 24 person patrol boat but you get to see literally everything about the ship and they’re very relaxed

I saw it going upriver from about a half mile or so. Quite the impressive ship.

From what I could find of that French vessel, it seems to be similar in size to that Coast Guard cutter.


The cutter didn’t have to go far from Pascagoula, and it’s a bit of a homecoming for it since it was built in Lockport.
