Don't play stupid. I would normally tell someone they're better than that, but that would be a lie in this instance.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about.

Man, if only all of our posts were able to be viewed so you could go back and follow the conversation. I'll go ask Chicken to make that happen.

Not too interested in researching it, so I just asked you because it's easier; this summarizes the relative unimportance I place upon whatever it is you're talking about.

It's like petulant children fighting. Just take them both down and then it's fair. A compromise. It's a win win for blacks and whites.

No. Statues of civil rights figures are good things, so we will leave them up. Statues of people who fought against the United States to preserve slabery are bad things, hence the collective voice in support of their removal.

No compromise is warranted.

Maybe it could go to a vote? So we could get an accurate depiction of what the people want.

Doesn't matter. Statues of civil rights figures good, statues of traitors to the United States who fought to preserve slavery bad, no matter what your opinion is.

What if the statue is honoring their previous service in the US army?

Nazis are bad too. We don't destroy all evidence that nazis ever existed because there needs to be a reminder of what happened so that it doesn't happen again.

The statues of them are gone; have you noticed that Nazi history is easily accessible and plentiful?

Get it yet?

If more crimes and murders are committed on Martin Luther King Blvd than any other street in the country, should we remove every MLK Blvd sign?
