He will miss it.

Last night I saw that 21 horses (1/2 of barn 14) tested positive despite no symptoms. They are about to test the other qt barns too...

I hadn't been following it too much, was hoping this would be wrapped up by the time the prep races started. this is going to be a shitty meet.

Starlight racing is already crappy enough, I can't imagine what tonight is going to be like.

Is it something that can be contained/resolved relatively quickly?

What sucks is how great this year started off. Purses and field sizes up. The few times I've been the quality of the horses seems better too.

This was the first time in a while I was optimistic about the meet.

Now, the real question...

Does Churchill strip the preps of their points like the sunland derby last year (also EHV-1)? Or, because they own the track, do they keep them?

No.

Need to go at least 14 days with no reported positive to lift qt. They were testing all with fevers.

Well, they've been treating this place like the red headed step child since day 1, don't see any reason that would change.

WOW, you went out on a limb with that pick.

Never said it was a longshot. I has a great shot at winning. A little money is better than no money.

But good luck tonight man

True, but they won't want to take points away from their own track.

Look what they did to Hawthorne and the Illinois derby. Competing track, you get not points

I hate Churchill. At least louisiana made them step up and put some more money into the fairgrounds.

Yep, it was embarrassing. My family all live in Louisville and spend a ton of a time at Keenland. He couldn't get over the fact that we didn't have a working screen on the infield for like 4 years.

I've been dealing with it in here for close to 3 weeks.

As someone with a horse there it is a very stressful thing.

Yeah. Where they start breezing them in august and September of their YEARLING YEAR. Not trashy at all.

No wonder all the big races are for 2 years olds...

Well. One is quarantined and the other is an a-hole

You'd like him, though. Nobody believes he's a tb until I show his tattoo. Looks like a qh.

fat, furry, dirty, lazy. Haven't been able to ride since November. Wont be able to till late February

Palomino is faded and out of shape. The old Dun horse has Cushings so he is furry as hell and showing his 26 years.

3 open mares in the barn all looking for love as they stand under lights. They're getting knocked up next month if all goes well. At least it hasn't been too cold.

That condo on the beach is looking better and better every year. Just still enjoy the horses too much to make the change.

Your horse show any signs or is she just part of the precautions?
as for the a-hole, I would like him. Gotta have a little shite with them to keep it fun.

might as well be a QH if they're just gonna stand there.
