No, a professional driver who is in between booked jobs. I'm guessing you've never lived in or visited a big city.

As a professional cab driver it worries me that anyone can become a cab driver via a CL ad.

It's all so clear now. Thanks for wasting my time a-hole.

Yea, when that lunatic Uber hipster gets stoned and passes out and you fashion a makeshift key out of you thumbnails and escape your dungeon.

if you can't get behind Uber, my guess is you don't support any type of change.

I think we oughtta all be on horseback.

If you don't support horseback riding, I guess you don't support America.

What if your driver was an OT7 (bear with me on the woman driving a car part) and she could clock off whenever she wanted?

One of the Uber drivers I had was actually a really cute chick in her mid to late 20s.

Last week in Atlanta I had an OT 7 female uber x driver who tried to convince my buddies and I to come to her swinger party

I would love to see a uber type deal in the city. Not because I have a problem with the current system

If you don't have a problem with the current system, you must be profiting nicely from it. I do not know a single consumer who believes the current cab system in NOLA is acceptable.

I asked the chick who picked us up about that. Apparently it's volume she said she was working more than 40 hours a week but pulling in 1,500 a week (her words not mine).

Hypothetically though if she makes 4 rides an hour, that's about 16-18 an hour after Uber's 15% cut or 36k a year. How much are cabbies supposed to make?
