This isn’t politics. He’s being an a-hole

La Boca is the only one. High Hat and Ancora are casual neighborhood restaurants.

So if Letlow had a D behind his name and some conservative chef made the comment, do you think this thread gets made and/or goes 10 pages? It’s certainly political.

Okay. Real life example off the top of my head.
Why are we supposed to be mad at Garcia for his comments but okay with comments made in the RBG passing thread? What’s the difference? That is all I’m arguing.

Garcia is a lunatic that's contributing to the steep decline of his own city.

NOLA Chef Adolfo Garcia is a piece of shite.

In this spectacular hypothetical, the chef would be ruined before it even made it to this board, and most here wouldn't be mad about it.
It really is bizarre how easily you people can ignore the obvious double standard and the extreme nastiness of the left.

None of the people bashing a dead RBG were dumb enough to put their name and business out there while doing it. And if they were, they would have gotten "cancelled" to. Okay with it, or not, thats the biggest "play stupid games" move ever.

Supporting the idiotic Left is about as "stupid" as it gets.

Why are people more perturbed about a (somewhat) prominent local business owner mocking the a 40 year old new father than anonymous message board users commenting on a 90 year old Supreme Court justice? Gee i don’t know
I disavow, I disavow

Who TF do you think frequents his restaurants?
Yep, local chef did something equally as dumb (restaurants have very similar names) and his clientele didn't care. If anything, it gives them some validation in that crowd.

Touristy cities like New Orleans and Vegas are being hit REALLY hard by these economic sanctions. Most restaurants can't afford to turn away anyone.

All in all, I don't think anyone should be surprised by disgusting outbursts like this from people like that. While the reservation idea and the reviews are comical, I'm gonna just go about my business as I had before I even learned who this person or his restaurants were. I was more than likely never going to go to any of them, and now I definitely won't. It won't hurt his business, but judging by his demeanor on his review responses, I'm sure he'll eventually turn customers away on his own.
