I was considering it to do other shite on my phone while listening to The Yak but was expecting to see $4.99 per month. There’s absolutely no way this shite is worth $15.99/month. That’s HBO Max type money.

Yes I do, YouTube and live sports is all I watch.

I don't want any of the premium stuff, just don't want commercials/ads.

I really struggle to see what you could get for $15.99 per month that isn’t available for free especially with ad blocker.

I do it - love being able to listen to videos while doing other things but I have gotten so into audiobooks that I might take it off auto renewal and see how I go for a month with only standard

I have it but I’m grandfathered in at $10 per month.

They should charge a one time fee of 100 bucks for no ads ever again. They would make millions immediately

I do. It's 11.92 per month.

I watch podcasts and whiskey reviews on my commute. And watch chocotaco/ozzyman/brianshaw/eddiehall/restoration/demolitionranch/survivalshows/irishpeopletry/offgridbuilders when the ol lady is at work.

The justin wilson 24 hour stream is also amazing

I just don’t know what they offer to me for $15.99 a month? No ads? I can use an ad blocker. Doing other shite while listening on my phone would be nice, but not worth that much.

Compare it to HBO Max for $14.99. You get:

Movie premiers directly to your device
HBO’s entire series library
Butt loads of movies
DC
TCM
Adult Swim
Cartoon Network
Looney Tunes
Sesame Street
Crunchy roll
Originals for MAX
All of South Park’s library
A bunch of random other tv shows.

I just don’t see how that $15.99 per month makes any sense compared to the going rate of other streaming services that already set a lower price point or a more content compared to price point.

YouTube launches ads from the same servers as their content. It’s not that easy to Adblock YouTube.

I do. I use YouTube Music, which kinda sucks, and ad-free YouTube is awesome. I watch a lot of YT.

Same same. My kids are all about Attack on Titan, Naruto and Demon Slayer, and I can watch the original Gundam series

I do. Most of my viewing is YouTube. Can’t stand YouTube ads. I pay for YTTV during football season and cancel it after. Use my parents Netflix and my in laws HBO. So don’t really pay for other services. It’s expensive but it’s worth it to me. Wish they’d add Picture in Picture for iPhone with it. Assuming it’s coming at some point.

Also added my wife as a user so doesn’t feel as bad spending the money.

YouTube Premium is awesome. What are you talking about? With Youtube Premium you get no ads in YouTube, access to exclusive YouTube content and show, and the best part - "Unlimited YouTube Music subscription" - which can replace your Spotify and Apple Music subscription. I have been a long time subscriber of YouTube Premium and can't remember the last time I saw ads on YouTube or not been able to stream any song I wanted to on demand on YouTube Music.
