Heard the Lowes on Jeff Hwy was all cash due to their CC machines being down or something.

Knowing the owner and the animosity he holds, still, for the segment of the population who looted his Orleans Parish stores after Katrina; I am guessing he is seeking to discourage patronage from those who have no credit or debit card.

It was in pretty good shape today. Bread section was pretty picked over, but otherwise it was OK. Soap & paper product supplies still decimated. I've seen a few stores totally sold out of eggs, but they had plenty today.
It's a little bit like we're 1970s Brezhnev-era Russians, shopping at stores with bare shelves.

Gotcha. I've got an instacart order arriving Tuesday from Fresh Market but I'm worried itll get cancelled. About to run out of booze too but that's fine haha.
