If this guy and others like him show signs of wanting something different for their community (and come on, do you really think “community” is a bad word?), I will just be glad to see it and hopeful that they work to change the environment.
Also, he’s exactly right about the hate between males and females. The “war of the sexes” has been awful for everyone but especially so for the lower classes.

It is crazy the disconnect between fans of that music and the lyrics and message in general. I know the sweetest lady who dated a rapper (she became a pastor eventually). I told her it was so crazy to me that she listened to songs (some by her BF) about killing. She said “it’s just music/entertainment. He’s the sweetest person.” To her he was. To the little thugs, they’re all about the lyrics.
They’re literally destroying their own people as their little ones gobble up that trash music culture from birth. But you cannot separate a person from their culture, especially when even wholesome people embrace it.
It blows my mind! Yes, they’re profiting off of their own people, while ruining their minds.

Its human nature to understand social behavior. His lyrics and later comments clearly show he understands it and uses it to make money.
Hes part of the problem, its cultural.
