I have Nitrogen. All I can do is tell you my experience with it.
I don't worry about checking the pressure and topping off the air. I just have them check and top it when I get my oiled changed. My car is low miles, so I change the oil about every 6 months. The tires typically lose a 1/2 lb of pressure over 6 months.

Eventually you will. They slowly leak, especially cars with pressure monitors that are a year or so old.
Nitrogen or regular air it doesnt matter, just make sure the compressor used to fill has a dryer on it. Its the water that causes the fluctuations anyways and most regular compressors without dryers are filled with moisture

On a side note, if you use Helium it will boost gas milaage by 18%
I use hydrogen. It's four times as light as helium. I get 72% better mileage.

Only if you are going at least 120mph, however.

Nitrogen molecules are slightly larger than oxygen molecules and thus will permeate rubber at a slightly slower rate, but since air is 98% nitrogen anyway, you seriously arent gaining anything by putting pure nitrogen in your tires. It's a sales gimmick.

Everyone will tell you Nitrogen is a rip off but I got mine filled with it 2 years ago and havn't had a flat yet. And I used to get flats every couple of months. Also, nobody believes me but I swear it handles better.

Nitrogen doesn't prevent flats you dumb shite.

Air has been fine for over 100 years
This is the worst reasoning I've seen.
The only real argument that makes sense is the cost of using nitrogen vs air. If you're using really expensive tires they will last longer so it may make sense. If you're getting cheap tires there's no point in the added cost.

Dumb shite
My dad own a tire business. 100% the hook for selling nitrogen for filling tires is that the larger molecules take longer to leak out of the rubber tires , meaning your tires lose air pressure slower. The difference in time is so little though that the advantage is not worth the cost to anyone really. Dad doesn't even have the nitrogen machines, cuz they are a rip off.

Your fricking tires will not last longer if you use nitrogen. For the 3rd fricking time. The ONLY advantage is that the nitrogen molecules take longer to seep through the rubber than oxygen molecules so you lose air pressure slower. But you still use air pressure. And regular air is 78% nitrogen anyway, so you're barely getting any advantage at all.
It's a rip off. For anyone.

yeah how could someone accidentally type 98% when they meant to type 78% and obviously such a typo invalidates that person's entire post.
Dumb shite.

Nope, we believe in treating people the way we'd like to be treated, and we don't like being ripped off, so.......
